Void
A space dark and bleak
Once filled with an almighty presence
Now black the light taken
The change leaving a hole
Swallowing all the good all the living
It sits there never to be woken
The hole could never be filled in or forgotten
The void it leaves
We cannot linger there
Or risk a veiled mourning
Too hard to say goodbye
Too hard to accept
Too hard to turn your back
A disbelief we must all accept
